No one wants to spend all their weekends maintaining their yard and pruning their garden. Ok, maybe a few, but for the rest of us, we want to add that touch of garden without all the hassle that goes into maintaining an extensive landscape. Hosta

These shade-loving plants are perfect for underneath your trees or for any garden border. There are many different sizes and varieties of hostas to choose from green, cream, or blue-green colors to smooth, narrows, or heart shaped leaves. They also produce flowers that hummingbirds and other pollinators enjoy. But beware, deer love them even more. Partial sun or dappled shade is best with well-draining soil

 

Hydrangea

These flowering shrubs boast an elegant and old-fashioned charm, these partial sun lovers can grow anywhere almost anywhere. Coming in an abundance of colors: clear blue, vibrant pink, lavender, and frosty white to name a few.

 

Gardenia

Azalea

Geranium

Easy to grow, colorful, with a pleasant scent, geraniums are a gardeners favorite. Usually kept outdoors, these plants are great in the ground or pots, but will need to be brought indoors through the winter.

 

Arborvitae

Viburnum

These shrubs come in a variety of forms to virtually fit any garden out there. This flowering shrub is fragrant and attracts pollinators and can range from 2 feet to 20 feet tall. They do require more water, so they aren’t recommended for dry climates.
